Melissa Moore presents Land Ends, a selection of photographs taken on the Hornby Island, Canada, where she retired for several times over 13 years. Her work takes its cue from the architecture of the place, largely inspired by Shelter, the book published for the first time in 1973 that gave birth to the current revolution of Green Building.
Alberta Pellacani shows a selection of photographs and a video unpublished, as a part of the series Changing. The project began in 2011 and records the transformation of nature through images purposely ambiguous and alienating.
Utopia, vision and nature, Melissa Moore and Alberta Pellacani investigate changing as transformation, architecture as a refuge and the unveiling as a process of knowledge.
