Es geht einfach um Nummern it's the title of the new solo exhibition by Fabrizio Bellomo, that Metronom shows in its spaces from Saturday October 10th, curated by Luca Panaro.
Es geht einfach um Nummern (They are just numbers, translating from German), it's the main clue that Bellomo gives us for what may be considered a decodification work, and on the other hand as a reconstruction of an abstractional project, brought roughly until the limit.
Charmed from the very beginning by the abstract geometry and by Bauhaus' works, Bellomo has started to collect many proof sheets, founded inside laboratories and press centers, where he had been for professional reasons.
"The main reason of this fascination is probabily in the coscience that I have gradually gained that the abstract has grown side by side with the emergence and the risen of the industrialization of the machine, and afterwards of the digitalization" said Bellomo. The sheets that were used as proofs for the press process, normally intended to the retting ground, became an idea and an occasion to reflect on production tecnique and on the general process of imagine generation during the digital era.
