LIVESTUDIO#2 - residency programme
LIVEstudio is a programme addressed to those young artists who require a location to refine and show their works, as they would do in their own studio. On the occasion of LIVEstudio, Metronom makes its exhibition spaces in Modena (viale Amendola 142) available to artists, photographers and video-makers - individuals or collectives - to be used as an atelier for one month. During the opening hours of Metronom, the artists will be free to exhibit their works and to organise meetings, studio visits, and other activities.
During the residency, the selected artists are invited to develop a research or a project, which can be a photographic work or a video, a curatorial project, or a photobook. They will also have the chance to start a new research together in total freedom. The chosen artists will share Metronom's spaces in order to produce their work.
In collaboration with Ostello San Filippo Neri, Modena and with Fondazione Francesco Fabbri, Pieve di Soligo.
The commettee, formed by Andrea Botto, Marcella Manni, Luca Panaro, Carlo Sala and Eleonora Pasqui, has decided that Tiziano Doria and Rachele Maistrello are the two selected for the residency period.
