On 24 February 2018 at 18.00 Metronom inaugurates its new headquarters with the collective show From My Point of View, which presents works by Olaf Breuning, Kenta Cobayashi, Mark Dorf and Thomas Kuijpers
From my point of view puts forward the research of four artists who in different ways reflect and explore the contemporary artist's possibilities of interpreting his own 'role'.
Metronom is an organization founded in 2008 by Marcella Manni with the aim of investigating and promoting the researches of contemporary visual culture. The space gives particular attention to the new generations, hosting solo and collective shows by young Italian and foreign artists all year round, and aiming at works that are new or have never been seen in Italy. The residence project "LIVEstudio" is also dedicated to emerging artists. generazionecritica.it is a space for in-depth theoretical study, research and dissemination.
From February, with the opening of its new headquarters in the historic centre of Modena, Metronom will be broadening its activities: with publishing projects to accompany the exhibition programme, backing up our commitment to the promotion of contemporary art.
