Avispish, a video created by Joaquina Salgado, is the third project featured in Pattern, the sixth chapter of the program curated by Gemma Fantacci and hosted on the Digital Video Wall (DVW) of Metronom, via Carteria 10, Modena.
Pattern is the theme chosen for this sixth edition of the DVW, which investigates how digital technologies and artificial intelligence shape our perception of the self, the body, and personal identity. This inquiry reflects on the evolution of digital aesthetics, questioning whether we are witnessing the consolidation of past ideals or the emergence of alternative forms.
Avispish (2022) will be on view 24/7 from April 1 to April 29 on the screens in Metronom's storefront.
The peculiar position of the DVW, which allows 24/7 fruition from the street front, transforms it into a privileged exhibition space. The projection facing the outside of the premises constitutes an urban intervention, a showcase which becomes a way to redesign and change the image of the street, through the proposed contents.
