On the occasion of festivalfilosofia 2019 Metronom presents the collective exhibition Antropotecniche, with works by Elena Aya Bundurakis, Christto & Andrew, Alix Desaubliaux, Kamilia Kard and Simone Schiesari.
With a theoretical reference to the studies of the German philosopher Peter Sloterdjk, the exhibition intends to propose a visual incursion into the complex concept of anthropotechnics, understood here as the action of man on himself.
The artists propose to confront themselves with the themes of representation and the construction of the body and the figure, facing the complex and the stratified concept of "person". From photography, video games, to 3D printing, the works invite a visual foray into the redefinition of representation and bodily self-certification, exploring the relationship between man and his potential technological 'construction'.
