Fasten Your Seatbelt

Fasten Your Seatbelt is the book published by Metronom Books that invludes all the essays of the artists, art critics, curators and scholars who took part in Generazione Critica #6.
The conference focused on the role of technology (augmented reality, VR, 3D, post-internet art) in the process of production of contemporary art and how it influences its fruition.
The contributors are Bruno Barsanti (independent curator, coordinator The Others, Torino), Cesare Biasini Selvaggi (editor in chief, Exibart), Gemma Fantacci (Milan Machinima Festival 2020), Gli Impresari (artistic collective), Kamilia Kard (artist), Elisabetta Modena (scholar and idependent curator), Santa Nastro (editor, Artribune), and the studets of the Master di alta formazione sull'immagine contemporanea of FMAV Isabella Nardon,Vanessa Pinzoni and Federica Porro.
In order to promote the dialogue and the discussion on the themes introduced by Generazione Critica #6 and Fasten Your Seatbelt, the authors of the essays have been invited this fall to join conversations, streamed live on @metronomblog, together with a Marcella Manni (metronom) and one of the artist whose practice thay have beneed examining in their contributions. To diversify the presentation and communication of contents, some of them have been invited to take over for a day of metronom Instagram profile: at the and a special archve of the project will be creted on Generazione Critica's web site and on @metronomblog.
