Marit Wolters (b. 1985 in Achim, Germany. She lives in Wien, Austria)
She mainly works with sculpture and installation. Her intervention operates on the exhibition's space and architectural context. The sculpture is used as a replica of a detail, investigating unexpected consequences through the site-specific language. She was honoured with several awards including Erste Bank Extra-Value Art Award, 2018; Grant for Emerging Artist, 2017.
